There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Bursa BSB (3-5) outplayed on the road 8th ranked Alanya Bld (3-5) 83-54 on Saturday. Bursa BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Alanya Bld's 32 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Alanya Bld 51-24 including a 43-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gulay Gul (-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international Didem Nakas (173-94) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Bursa BSB players scored in double figures. Bursa BSB's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Porsha Harris (188-90, college: Bethel, TN, agency: Gamble Sports Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Yagmur Ozturk added 11 points in the effort for Alanya Bld. Bursa BSB moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Alanya Bld and Urla BLD. Bursa BSB will face league's second-placed Istanbulgucu at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
