Regular Season Round 15: UBSC Graz - Vienna 67-86

Date: December 5, 2015
The game in Graz was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Vienna (8-7) played at the court of 8th ranked UBSC Graz (5-10). Vienna did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 86-67 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of UBSC Graz. The game was mostly controlled by Vienna. UBSC Graz was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Five Vienna players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Povilas Gaidys (208-91, college: Southeastern) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Slovenian guard Jure Pelko (190-90) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for UBSC Graz. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vienna moved-up to third place, which they share with Oberwart. Loser UBSC Graz keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Vienna will face Redwell Gunners Oberwart (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. UBSC Graz will play against the league's second-placed Furstenfeld Panthers (#2) and hope to win that game.
