Rather predictable result in Burgas where fifth ranked Cherno More (6-3) defeated 9th ranked Chernomorets (1-8) 72-66. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Chernomorets won third quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International forward Simeon Iliev (204-89, agency: Interperformances) nailed 26 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and guard Stanislav Tsonkov (192-91) accounted for 10 points and 7 assists. Cherno More's coach Spas Natov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian center Dejan Bjelic (209-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and forward Konstantin Koev (196-91) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Chernomorets in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cherno More moved-up to third place, which they share with Beroe. Chernomorets lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Yambol. Cherno More will play against Rilski (#5) in Samokov in the next round. Chernomorets will play at home against Spartak Pleven (#6) to get more than just one victory in their record.
