A very interesting game took place in Afyonkarahisar. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Eskisehir Basket (6-5) to eleventh ranked Afyon (5-6) 62-60 on Saturday evening. Eskisehir Basket was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 19-14 charge of Afyon, which allowed them to win the game. American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Sezgin Eris (185-85) contributed with 12 points for the winners. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Ali Guney BA) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Genco Ozan Dilik (191-91) added 10 points in the effort for Eskisehir Basket.
