NBL top team - Haskovo 2012 (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Septemvri (1-6) in Sofia 107-59. The game without a history. Haskovo 2012 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Septemvri to just 6 points in first quarter. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Septemvri's 28. Haskovo 2012 forced 22 Septemvri turnovers and outrebounded them 62-31 including a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Haskovo 2012 players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Septemvri's players. It was a great evening for Mali forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 47 points (!!!), 24 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks. American guard Lia Galdeira (180, college: Washington St.) helped adding 24 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals.
