Undefeated leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg delivered the eleventh consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked SV Halle Lions (6-5) 106-70. American forward Sophia Ederaine (190, college: San Diego) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks and Belarusian point guard Alexandra Tarasava (171-88) scored 25 points and 4 assists. SV Halle Lions' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. TSV 1880 Wasserburg (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Loser SV Halle Lions keep the sixth position with five games lost. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will meet Oberhausen (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SV Halle Lions will play against the league's second-placed Gruner Stern Keltern (#2) and hope to secure a win.
