An interesting game for Neftochimic (5-2) which hosted in Burgas their biggest opponent Dunav 8806 (5-2). Third ranked Neftochimic managed to get a 5-point victory 68-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dunav 8806. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 19-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Neftochimic dominated on the defensive end, holding Dunav 8806 to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 20 Dunav 8806 turnovers. Neftochimic moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Dunav 8806. Neftochimic is looking forward to face bottom-ranked NSA Delta (#8) in Sofia in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dunav 8806 will play on the road against Beroe (#4) in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
