Regular Season Round 14: Siauliai - Vytautas 106-75

The most important game in the last round took place in Siauliai between third ranked Vytautas (8-5) and fifth ranked Siauliai (7-7) on Tuesday night. Vytautas was crushed by Siauliai on the road 106-75. The game without a history. Siauliai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Siauliai's coach Gediminas Petrauskas felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Vytautas Sulskis (200-88, college: Youngstown St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Vilmantas Dilys (207-87) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Five Siauliai and four Vytautas players scored in double figures. Siauliai have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-7 record. Vytautas at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Siauliai are looking forward to face league's leader Zalgiris in Kaunas in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vytautas will play on the road against Lietkabelis in Panevezys and is hoping to win this game.
