An interesting game took place in Trabzon where higher ranked Royal Hali (4-5) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Trabzonspor (4-6) 73-68 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Royal Hali. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Royal Hali won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Royal Hali was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. At the losing side Canadian-American guard Andrew Rautins (193-86, college: Syracuse) responded with 18 points and American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Trabzonspor moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Royal Hali dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Trabzonspor will face higher ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (#4) in Istanbul in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
