Second Stage Round 1: Blyskavky - Chaika 75-48

Very predictable result when Blyskavky (2-0) rolled over Chaika (1-2) in Vinnytsia 75-48 on Sunday. The game without a history. Blyskavky led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Chaika to just 6 points in first quarter. Blyskavky dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Chaika's 34. Chaika was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for point guard Viktoriia Khomiak (171-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals. Iryna Zhmurko (181-96) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Blyskavky players scored in double figures. Center Olga Yatskovets (183-97) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Nadia Teleshyk (173-95) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Chaika. Blyskavky will face Interkhim in Odessa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
