Leader Stevnsgade delivered the eighth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked SISU (3-8) 93-51. The game without a history. Stevnsgade led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 28 and made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Stevnsgade forced 37 SISU turnovers. Strangely SISU outrebounded Stevnsgade 46-30 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a quality performance of international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 assists and 5 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Simone Ceccardi (184-95) who added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Stevnsgade's coach Igor Gavrilovic felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Olivia Applewhite (183-91, college: Dayton) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 23 rebounds and forward Victoria Mikkelsen (180-97) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Stevnsgade have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-2 record. SISU lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Stevnsgade will meet Horsholm (#4) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Amager and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
