Regular Season Round 11: BC Odessa - BK Kremen 90-92

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Superleague took place in Odessa. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked BC Odessa (1-9) to sixth ranked BK Kremen (4-5) 92-90 on Friday evening. The best player for the winners was forward Yaroslav Skrypets (195-91) who scored 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Roman Novikov (192-79) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. BK Kremen's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Belarusian Gennadi Kuznetsov (204-75) produced 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and center Vadim Matyukevych (209-80) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four BC Odessa players scored in double figures. BK Kremen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hoverla and Kharkiv. BC Odessa lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. BK Kremen is looking forward to face Hoverla (#4) in Frankivsk in the next round. BC Odessa will play on the road against the league's second-placed Halychyna (#2) in Lviv and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
