Regular Season Round 11: TED Kolejliler - Turk Telekom 89-70
Date: December 19, 2015
Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 15th ranked Turk Telekom (2-8) was outplayed by twelfth ranked TED Kolejliler (5-7) 89-70 on Saturday. The game without a history. TED Kolejliler led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TED Kolejliler had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Kalin Lucas (185-89, college: Michigan St.) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Georgian forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Five TED Kolejliler players scored in double figures. American guard Michael Jenkins (193-86, college: Winthrop) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international power forward Cevher Ozer (206-83, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TED Kolejliler moved-up to tenth place. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with eight games lost. TED Kolejliler will face bottom-ranked Istanbul BSB (#16) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
