Leader Haskovo 2012 delivered the eighth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Levski (2-6) 91-36 in Sofia. The game without a history. Haskovo 2012 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Levski to just 7 points in first quarter. Haskovo 2012 held Levski to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.5 percent accuracy of the winners and made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Haskovo 2012 forced 30 Levski turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American swingman Jazmine Perkins (178, college: Washington St.) who led her team to a victory with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. Her fellow American import guard Lia Galdeira (180, college: Washington St.) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. Swingman Yolanda Cossa (170-95) answered with 10 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Gergana Ivanova (175-99) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Levski. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Haskovo 2012 maintains first place with 8-1 record. Levski lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Haskovo 2012 will play against league's second-placed Dunav 8806 in Ruse in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levski will play on the road against Montana 2003 (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
