DBBL top team - TSV 1880 Wasserburg (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Oberhausen (2-10) 92-69. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. Oberhausen was better in fourth quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Oberhausen 62-35 including a 27-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. TSV 1880 Wasserburg players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of French forward Soana Lucet (185-87, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian power forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser) who added 22 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four TSV 1880 Wasserburg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Aline Stiller (184-94) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ramona Tews (172-92) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-0 record. Oberhausen at the other side keeps the eleventh place with ten games lost. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will play against TV Saarlouis Royals (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Oberhausen will play against the league's second-placed Gruner Stern Keltern (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
