Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Istanbul Uni's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Nevriye Yilmaz (194-80) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Isil Alben (170-86, agency: 1x1 Sports) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Galatasaray players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian-Bulgarian center Viktoria Mircheva (190-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) with 18 points and Bosnian-Serbian guard Sasa Cado (178-89) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Mersin. Istanbul Uni lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Galatasaray will play against Besiktas (#8) in Istanbul in the next round where they are favorite. Istanbul Uni will play at home against Fenerbahce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
