Rather predictable result in Trier where tenth ranked Gladiators (8-9) defeated 13th ranked Finke Baskets (5-11) 77-69. It was a very good performance for Ghanian-American guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe (188-88, college: N.Iowa) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Dwayne Evans (198-92, college: St.Louis) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Gladiators players scored in double figures. American guard Matt Vest (196-92, college: Wright St.) replied with 17 points and Canadian Nick Tufegdzich (203-92) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Finke Baskets.
