Very expected game in Bursa where 14th ranked Final Genclik (5-10) was rolled over by leader Tofas (15-0) 95-72 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-72. Tofas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Dominican-American guard Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Tofas will face Adanaspor (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Final Genclik will play against Afyon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
