An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kaunas. First ranked Zalgiris faced 4th ranked Juventus. Host Zalgiris (17-1) defeated guests from Utena (9-9) 90-78. The game was mostly controlled by Zalgiris. Juventus managed to win third quarter 30-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Zalgiris forced 19 Juventus turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was international guard Edgaras Ulanovas (197-92) who scored 17 points. Greek power forward Ian Vougioukas (212-85, college: St.Louis) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Zalgiris' coach Gintaras Krapikas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
