Regular Season Round 13: Horsholm - Stevnsgade 49-67

An interesting game for Stevnsgade (9-2) which played road game in Horsholm against 4th placed Horsholm (5-6). First ranked Stevnsgade had an easy win 67-49. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Stevnsgade's pressure prevailed and they won that period 22-11 extending their advantage to 18 points. Stevnsgade forced 26 Horsholm turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Hanna Sheikh (180-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Stevnsgade's coach Igor Gavrilovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and international swingman Frederikke Mollerup (177-95) added 11 points in the effort for Horsholm. Stevnsgade have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-2 record. Horsholm lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Amager. Stevnsgade are looking forward to face league's second-placed Virum at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Horsholm will play against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
