No shocking result in a game when second ranked Virum (8-3) beat at home bottom-ranked Aabyhoj (2-9) 70-58. The game was mostly controlled by Virum. Aabyhoj was better in second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Val Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Nikoline Oestergaard (183-92, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. At the losing side swingman Enna Pehadzic (178-97) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Stephanie Mannemar Jensen (180-90) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Virum maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Stevnsgade. Aabyhoj at the other side stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Virum will play against league's leader Stevnsgade on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aabyhoj will play against Lemvig (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
