Date: January 10, 2016
The game in Copenhagen supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Amager (5-6) played at the court of 6th ranked SISU (3-9). Amager smashed SISU 79-51. The game without a history. Amager led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SISU to just 7 points in second quarter. Amager dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 28. Swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American forward Portia Durrett (185-92, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 15 points. At the losing side American forward Olivia Applewhite (183-91, college: Dayton) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Mathilde Colding-Poulsen (178-95) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Amager moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Horsholm. SISU lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Amager will play against Horsholm (#4) at home in the next round. SISU will have a break next round.
