Regular Season Round 15: Usak - Fener.Ulker 82-93

The game in Usak was also quite interesting. Second ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (11-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Usak Sportlif (7-8). Fenerbahce Ulker defeated Usak Sportlif 93-82 on Monday. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. Fenerbahce Ulker made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Nigerian power forward Ekpe Udoh (208-87, college: Baylor) helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Khem Birch (208-92, college: UNLV) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and American swingman Paul Harris (193-86, college: Syracuse) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Fenerbahce Ulker and four Usak Sportlif players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce Ulker have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-4 record having just one point less than leader Anadolu Efes. Usak Sportlif lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Fenerbahce Ulker will meet TED Kolejliler (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Usak Sportlif will play against Yesilgiresun in Giresun and hope to secure a win.
