Regular Season Round 15: Darussafaka - Anadolu Efes 76-80

Leader Anadolu Efes delivered the eleventh win on Monday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Darussafaka (9-6) 80-76 in Istanbul. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 22-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was international forward Cedi Osman (204-95) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Uruguayan-Italian guard Jayson Granger (188-89) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-92, college: Florida) who recorded 14 points and the former international power forward Furkan Aldemir (207-91, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points respectively. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anadolu Efes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-3 record. Darussafaka at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Karsiyaka and Banvit BK. Anadolu Efes are looking forward to face Konyaspor (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Darussafaka will play against Royal Hali (#11) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
