No shocking result in a game when third ranked Neftochimic (9-4) crushed 6th ranked Levski (3-9) in Burgas 86-52 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Neftochimic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Levski to just 6 points in second quarter. Neftochimic dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Levski's 30. Neftochimic forced 26 Levski turnovers and outrebounded them 43-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Levski's players. Serbian forward Jelena Jovanovic (184-90) nailed 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and international center Stefka Miteva (191-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Neftochimic's coach Detcho Koeshinov felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Yolanda Cossa (170-95) came up with 20 points and 8 steals and guard Stefani Pendova (172-99) added 10 points respectively for Levski in the defeat. Neftochimic maintains third place with 9-4 record having just two points less than leader Haskovo 2012, which they share with Dunav 8806. Loser Levski keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
