Sakarya BSB managed to secure a 6-point victory 84-78 on Saturday. Eskisehir Basket was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 23-16 charge of Sakarya BSB, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Fikret Can Akin (190-83, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures. Sakarya BSB's coach Okan Cevik used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. They share it with Pertevniyal. Sakarya BSB will meet Mamak DSI (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eskisehir Basket will play against Balikesir (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
