Regular Season Round 11: Sezana - Slovan 75-72

Twelfth-ranked Slovan (2-9) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked Sezana (6-5). Sezana managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected much easier game. Slovan was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Sezana, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was center Mirnes Husic (203-85) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Nejc Glavas (190-86) chipped in 11 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Sezana's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Tim Osolnik (190-96) produced 20 points and forward Matija Vravnik (198-92) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sezana. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Plama Pur. Slovan lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Sezana's next round opponent will be league's leader Terme Olimia in Podcetrtek and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slovan will play on the road against Crnomelj (#8) and hope to win that game.
