Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Ladybaskets Wuerzburg (5-9) lost to third ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt (10-4) in Dudenhofen 50-62. The game was mostly controlled by Speyer / Schifferstadt. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg was better in fourth quarter 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Speyer / Schifferstadt forced 21 Ladybaskets Wuerzburg turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Uta Gelbke (177-86) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Martina Kraus (186-90) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds.
