Regular Season Round 15: Stahnsdorf - Oldenburg 68-73

Very expected game in Stahnsdorf where 10th ranked RSV Eintracht (4-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Oldenburg (10-5) 73-68 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Oldenburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. RSV Eintracht was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was naturalized Bosnian point guard Robert Drijencic (190-96) who scored 21 points. Stefan Wess (203-94) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kenneth Cooper (208-87, college: UAB) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and Joey Ney (198-92) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Oldenburg moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and Rostock. RSV Eintracht lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 11 games lost. Oldenburg will face Recklinghausen (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RSV Eintracht will play against Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck and hope to win that game.
