The most important game in the last round took place in Ruse between third ranked Neftochimic (9-5) and fourth ranked Dunav 8806 (10-4) on Sunday night. Neftochimic was crushed by Dunav 8806 on the road 113-70. The game without a history. Dunav 8806 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Neftochimic's 46. They outrebounded Neftochimic 34-19 including a 27-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dunav 8806 looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Neftochimic's players. American forward Gennifer Brandon (188-90, college: California) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Radostina Dimitrova (184-85) chipped in 29 points and 4 assists during the contest. Dunav 8806's coach Georgi Bozhkov felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Maria Zhelyazkova (182-86, agency: Promotex) responded with 12 points and 5 assists and swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds.
