Regular Season Round 25: Suduva - Aistes-LSU 87-48

Leader Suduva recorded the thirteenth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Aistes-LSU (2-14) 87-48 in Marijampole. The game without a history. Suduva led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Aistes-LSU's 28 and made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Aistes-LSU 43-28 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ieva Kazlauskaite (178-94, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her thirteen free throws !!!). International forward Neringa Skadaite (179-92) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Laura Zelnyte (190-94) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Helma Vysniauskaite (182-98) added 10 points and 4 steals in the effort for Aistes-LSU. Aistes-LSU's coach Ricardas Maceina gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Suduva have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-2 record. Aistes-LSU lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
