Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Porto: Vasco (#3) and Dragon Force (#5). Vasco (7-7) won against visiting Dragon Force (7-7) 82-77. Vasco dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Dragon Force's 24. Naturalized Angolan forward Paulo Ferreira (187-80) notched 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Miguel Toreia (180-93) supported him with 17 points and 5 assists. Four Vasco players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 7 rebounds by power forward Diogo Araujo (199-97) did not help to save the game for Dragon Force. Point guard Pedro Bastos (186-94) added 19 points and 7 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Vasco have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Dragon Force. Dragon Force lost sixth consecutive game.
