The game in Telsiu was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Vytis (21-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Telsiai (14-14). Vytis defeated Telsiai 79-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Telsiai. The game without a history. Vytis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Telsiai turnovers. Telsiai was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by guard Ignas Vaitkus (183-98) who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists and guard Dominykas Domarkas (187-92) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Vytis' coach Nerijus Zabarauskas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds by power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) did not help to save the game for Telsiai. Guard Laurynas Kaveckis (190-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Vytis have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Newly promoted Telsiai keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Vytis will play against league's second-placed Mazeikiai on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Telsiai will play against Palanga (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
