We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked 55 Genclik (8-5) defeated on the road 5th ranked Yalova Vip (8-5) 80-62 on Saturday. American forward Azia Capri Bishop (190-93, college: Kentucky, agency: Merit Management Group) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and guard Merve Usal (-94) chipped in 18 points. Four 55 Genclik players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Beril Albayrak (180-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and forward Banu Yillar (172-78) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. 55 Genclik moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with defeated Yalova Vip. 55 Genclik will face Tekirdag (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Yalova Vip will play against the league's leader Ormanspor (#1) in Ankara and hope to win that game.
