KBSL top team - Galatasaray (13-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Adana ASKI (2-14) in Istanbul 78-69. Galatasaray made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Jewell Loyd (178-93, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists and Montenegrin center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who added 14 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. At the losing side Croatian-American guard Shavonte Zellous (178-86, college: Pittsburgh) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Swedish center Amanda Zahui (196-93, college: Minnesota) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Galatasaray have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-3 record. Adana ASKI lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost. Galatasaray are looking forward to face league's second-placed Hatay on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Adana ASKI will play against Besiktas (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
