Very important is a home loss of second ranked Jedinstvo (8-2) against fourth ranked Banovici (7-3) on Saturday night. Host Jedinstvo was defeated by Banovici in a tough game in Tuzla 76-81. Strangely Jedinstvo outrebounded Banovici 36-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by forward Dajana Bugarin (182-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Danira Music (180-89) supported her with 17 points and 4 assists. Four Banovici players scored in double figures. Even 28 points and 9 rebounds by international Melisa Brcaninovic (185-99, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Jedinstvo. Power forward Naida Glotic (184-99) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Banovici moved-up to third place, which they share with Zeljeznicar. Jedinstvo at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Banovici will play against Mladi Krajisnik (#9) in Banja Luka in the next round where they are favorite. Jedinstvo will have a break next round.
