Very expected game when 12th ranked Orduspor (4-12) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Istanbul Uni (9-7) 87-80. Istanbul Uni outrebounded Orduspor 45-27 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Serbian guard Sasa Cado (178-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Tan White (170-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Serbian-Hungarian forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-90) replied with 27 points and American guard Tierra Ruffin-Pratt (178-91, college: N.Carolina) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Orduspor. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Istanbul Uni maintains sixth position with 9-7 record. Orduspor at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Istanbul Uni's next round opponent will be higher ranked Mersin (#5) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Orduspor will play against Yakin Dogu (#13) in Lefkosa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
