Regular Season Round 15: Stevnsgade - Lemvig 72-70

The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Stevnsgade's (11-2) home victory over second-best Lemvig (8-5) 72-70 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lemvig won third quarter 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Adika Okako (175-96) who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Gillian Abshire (175-93, college: Quinnipiac) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Stevnsgade have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-2 record. Lemvig at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Stevnsgade will face bottom-ranked Aabyhoj (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
