There was no surprise when 11th ranked Bursa BSB (3-11) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Mersin Uni (6-8) 77-69. Mersin Uni players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Ukrainian center Olena Staschuk (192-85) notched a double-double by scoring 32 points and 20 rebounds to lead the effort and Gizem Kumandanoglu (-94) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a triple-double of 19 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists by Montenegrin forward Milka Bjelica (193-81) did not help to save the game for Bursa BSB. Aylin Darinc (186-96) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Mersin Uni maintains seventh position in Group B with 6-8 record. Bursa BSB lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Mersin Uni's next round opponent will be higher ranked TED Ankara (#5) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Bursa BSB will play against Cankaya (#3) and hope to win that game.
