Very expected game in Istanbul where 9th ranked Fenerbahce (4-10) was rolled over by second ranked Edremit (11-3) 81-57. Edremit dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Fenerbahce's 38. They outrebounded Fenerbahce 40-24 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Edremit players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international forward Meric Yenal (188-88) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and American center Chanita Jordan (196-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) supported her with 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field).
