Very expected game in Istanbul where 15th ranked Final Genclik (6-12) was rolled over by third ranked Acibadem (14-4) 85-54 on Friday. The game without a history. Acibadem led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Acibadem forced 23 Final Genclik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Final Genclik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. American-Bulgarian point guard Keydren Clark (180-84, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mustafa Gucyetmez (188-80) who recorded 13 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Acibadem moved-up to second place, which they share with Gediz. Loser Final Genclik keeps the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Acibadem will face Adanaspor (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Final Genclik will play against Eskisehir Basket and hope to win that game.
