The best player for the winners was international guard Pelin Bilgic (175-94) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Ukrainian Olesia Malashenko (191-91, agency: LBM Management) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina) added 18 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Botas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Canik Bld and Gelistirenler. Edirne lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Botas will face higher ranked Mersin (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Edirne will play against Canik Bld (#7) in Samsun and hope to win that game.
