Regular Season Round 13: Grosuplje - Konjice 74-63

Round 13 in 2SKL means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Grosuplje where host Grosuplje (8-6) beat league's leader Konjice (8-5) 74-63 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Konjice. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 44-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Grosuplje dominated on the defensive end, holding Konjice to just 6 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Konjice 47-32 including a 40-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Konjice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Matic Sirnik (198-91) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Sandi Grubelic (190-96) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Kristjan Muzel (194-91) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Tomaz Jereb (192-91) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side.
