Regular Season Round 19: Naestved - Bakken 70-83

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Naestved. Third ranked Bakken faced their biggest opponent Naestved. Guests from Aarhus (13-3) defeated host Naestved (13-7) 83-70. Naestved was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 43-28 second half run of Bakken. They outrebounded Naestved 40-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Darko Jukic (199-90, agency: Two Points) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Bakken have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Naestved at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Bakken will play against league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play at home against Stevnsgade and hopes to get back on the winning track.
