There was no surprise when 17th ranked Adanaspor (4-14) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Socar Petkim (7-11) 87-70 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Socar Petkim. Adanaspor was better in third quarter 28-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Socar Petkim forced 22 Adanaspor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Adanaspor was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Josh Selby (188-91, college: Kansas, agency: Ali Guney BA) who scored 27 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Socar Petkim moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams.
