Date: February 6, 2016
No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Spartak (8-11) crushed 13th ranked OKK Beograd (6-13) in Subotica 101-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Spartak. OKK Beograd was better in second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Spartak had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. It was a very good performance for guard Milan Vulic (194-91) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 assists. Forward Dejan Laketa (204-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Spartak players scored in double figures. Spartak moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Vojvodina and Sloga. Loser OKK Beograd keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Spartak will face higher ranked Napredak Rubin (#6) in Krusevac in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. OKK Beograd will play at home against the league's second-placed Borac (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
