Very predictable result when fourth ranked Artland Dragons (11-7) beat on the road 12th ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (5-13) 63-59. Artland Dragons forced 25 SG Schwelmer Baskets turnovers. American point guard Javarez Willis (180-89, college: Ohio) notched 13 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Austin Bragg (206-91, college: W.Washington) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds by Croatian center Ivan Krolo (217-83, agency: Mansfield and Associates) did not help to save the game for SG Schwelmer Baskets. Center Sebastian Schroter (207-83) added 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Artland Dragons moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Rostock and Oldenburg. SG Schwelmer Baskets lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. Artland Dragons' next round opponent will be Recklinghausen (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. SG Schwelmer Baskets will play against AstroStars in Bochum and hope to win that game.
