The game in Kedainiai was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Neptunas (12-12) played at the court of 8th ranked Nevezis (8-16). Neptunas managed to secure a 8-point victory 77-69 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Nevezis won fourth quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Martynas Mazeika (192-85, agency: Interperformances) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists during the contest. Neptunas' coach Dainius Adomaitis used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Mindaugas Kupsas (217-91, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Darius Gvezdauskas (191-88) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Neptunas moved-up to third place, which they share with Vytautas and Juventus. Loser Nevezis dropped to the ninth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
