Rather expected game when 9th ranked RSV Eintracht (6-12) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Itzehoe (9-9) 80-76. Itzehoe forced 23 RSV Eintracht turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by RSV Eintracht helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Flavio Stueckemann (187-85) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward Stephan Shepherd (206-92, college: Bened.-Springfield) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Itzehoe players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) by forward Erik Mueller (202-92) did not help to save the game for RSV Eintracht. Joey Ney (198-92) added 14 points and 7 rebounds. RSV Eintracht's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
