An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Burgas. Second ranked Montana 2003 faced 4th ranked Neftochimic. Guests from Montana (8-3) defeated host Neftochimic (3-8) 80-67. The game was mostly controlled by Montana 2003. Neftochimic was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 54 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. International point guard Viktoria Stoycheva (165-92) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Ukrainian guard Olena Samburska (173-89) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Ukrainian power forward Olga Maznichenko (187-91, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Neftochimic. Four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Montana 2003 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-3 record having just two point less than leader Haskovo 2012. Neftochimic lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Montana 2003 will play against league's leader Haskovo 2012 at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Neftochimic will play against Beroe in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
